The Hocking Hills is best known for its Black Hand sandstone gorges, cascading waterfalls and seemingly never-ending forests speckled with hemlocks. Accompanied by this natural beauty, the area also offers attractions and events within a short drive of The Inn. From abandoned iron furnaces and haunted railways to winter hikes and enchanting book stores, fun things to see and do seem endless in the Hocking Hills.

The annual Washboard Music Festival opens the third week of June, with a welcoming parade featuring classic cars, antique tractors and visiting musicians beginning at 5pm. The three day event is a street fair with live music and kiddy rides held in the streets of downtown Logan Ohio.
